While looking for patterns for my toddler I came across this free pinafore pattern on the Smashed Peas and Carrots blog and I couldn't resist making one.
The pattern is super easy to follow and I found it took no time at all to sew. For a bit of fun, I used fabric paint to make bees wings on each of the back panels, and found some cute bee buttons that I attached to the front. I had some vintage floral fabric that I used lined the inside with. I'm really happy with the result and my 2 year old loves it and proclaims she is a bee when wearing it! :)

Stegosaurus 'taggie' doll
This adorable toy was made using a free pattern from Bubbles and Bobbins blog. I made a slight alteration in the method, by adding a 5 mm seam around the entire template before cutting it out and it still seemed to work perfectly. I made several of these as gifts and they were really quick to make and turned out wonderfully. The mums and babies who they were gifted to, loved them!
